As a basic element of health education, the family became the starting point of the introduction of dental prevention efforts in children, since pre-school days. Furthermore, at the school level, teachers and peer environments in this digital age still require knowledge of dental and oral health with appropriate, valid, and accessible directions. Patterns of illness or dental health disorders actually start from an initial sequence that starts from the smallest aspect of micron size, even nano in the biomolecular level in the form of tooth-damaging bacteria, the enzymatic chemical structure, to the antibody DNA support code against dental disease and mouth. The next sequence, ie when the child is born in the world (preschool), the family is the first example of a child in maintaining healthy teeth and mouth. Parents who are ignorant of contemporary clinical dental prevention, have a tendency to have children who experience caries in large numbers. As the third sequence, ie at the time of the child at school. Knowing snacks, adapting to peers’ snacking behavior, the abandonment of schoolteachers to the UKGS program becomes a crucial sequence in increasing the severity of dental caries in Indonesia.
This international seminar will be held on:
Garuda Mukti Hall, 5th floor, Head Office of Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
Therefore, at this symposium will be explained some findings from international experts, which can be the basis for the efforts of prevention of dental and oral problems that are comprehensive, ranging from the biomolecular level, the level of primary teeth, the level of replacement teeth, to the dental health behavior engineering and mouth for children. The solution is through comprehensive oral health education and monitored from the beginning of the child’s life planning, until the child is established later.
