As will soon be aired in theaters throughout Indonesia, the film titled “Aruna & Lidahnya”. Film with culinary theme wrapped in love drama, moreover in the setting of health issue, looks epic and its composition is solid to be enjoyed by.
“This film is taken from a novel with the same title, “Aruna & Lidahnya” by Laksmi Pamuntjak. This film’s challenge is to make people who watch, could taste of food. But it’s still fun, because everyone loves to eat, ‘said Edwin, the director about Aruna & Lidahnya, when he asked about film shooting experience in Question & Answer (Q & A) sessions in Surabaya (23/9).
This Q & A session was held with the screening of the film. “Pre-release” film screenings (will air on 27/9/2018) and this Q & A session invite a number of film-related circles, academics, and film lovers. One of the invited guests was the Team of Information and Public Relations Coordinator of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Airlangga University (KIH FKG Unair).
“This film is a must watch genre. as a Health Promoter, I feel like seeing myself and my epidemiological friends and health promotion experts all around Indonesia, who are carrying out their duties, ”said Gilang R. Sabdho Wening, drg., M.Kes as a representative of the KIH FKG Unair team.
It is a situation related to the health problem “Avian Flu” which is become the setting of this film. Collaboratively between several related parties, Aruna as a central figure plays her role as an epidemiologist who also enjoys enjoying regional culinary. The four main Indonesian actors are involved in this film. They are Dian Sastrowardoyo as Aruna (Epidemiologist), Oka Antara as Farish (Veterinarian), Hannah Al-Rasyid as Nadezhda (Culinary Book Author), and Nicholas Saputra as Bono (Chef). The four names are certainly well-known actors-actresses to the Indonesian big screen world.
