SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION
Research activities in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the form of collaborative research between lecturers and students are carried out according to the research framework of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which focuses on research on Alveolar and Maxillofacial Bone Regeneration. The series of research activities are directed at developing bone regeneration methods based on the philosophy of minimally invasive surgery, alveolar bone preservation for preparation for dental implant placement, development of research on biomaterials that support bone regeneration processes, development of outogenous bone grafting methods for post-resection defect reconstruction of the mandible and method development tissue engineering and stem cell applications for the reconstruction of maxillofacial defects.
