The Periodontics Specialist Study Program is future-oriented to produce Periodontist Specialist graduates who are professional problems-solving in the periodontal tissue with an integrated holistic concept. Periodontics Specialist Study Program graduates are designed to be able to contribute to the progress of science and technology in dentistry, through innovative research work.
The Vision of the Periodontics Specialist Study Program is to become a study program that produces internationally reputable professional graduates who can solve problems in the periodontal field guided by research results, based on religious morality.

1. Organize periodontist specialist education which can provide specialist services in professional manner with international standards and have competitiveness towards patient safety and health-oriented
2. Carry out innovative research in the field of periodontics with an international reputation for the benefit of the Indonesian people and the international community
3. Dedicating science and technology in the field of periodontics in an effort to improve public health status
In general, the objectives of Periodontist Specialist education are generally oriented toward achieving Periodontist Specialist competency standards. Therefore the purpose of education leads to the achievement of abilities that must be possessed by a Periodontics Specialist in carrying out of the profession.
